Beyond the Report.

Psychology makes more sense when someone actually explains it.

A diagnosis, test score, or therapy term can tell you something important. But it rarely tells you the whole story.

Why can I focus for hours on one thing but not start something that takes ten minutes?
What does “masking” actually look like?
How do you tell ADHD from anxiety?
Why can someone look completely fine and still be struggling?
What does a psychological test really tell us—and what can’t it tell us?

Beyond the Report is where I talk about the parts of psychology that deserve more explanation.

Drawing from my work as a clinical psychologist, I break down psychological testing, ADHD, autism, anxiety, OCD, executive functioning, learning, relationships, emotional health, and the many ways our brains influence how we function in everyday life.

Some topics are for parents trying to understand their children. Some are for adults trying to understand themselves. Others are for anyone who has ever encountered a psychological term and thought, Okay...but what does that actually mean?

The goal is not to turn every human experience into a diagnosis. It is to make good psychological information more understandable, nuanced, and useful.
